Jonathan and Ben tested the PIC board and found a few hardware problems. They found that the large electrolytic capacitors on one side of the board were soldered in backwards. Next meeting we will resolder the large capacitors. Ben also successfully compiled some of Jorge’s code for the robot.
Red Hat Linux 6.2 kernel 2.2.18 (patched) installed on a 320MB laptop hard drive boots on the AMD Net board successfully.
Apparently Stephen and Jorge have gotten as far as putting linux on Flash but I just ran into their problem: the ethernet doesn’t work.
